The newly renovated rooms were comfortable, and the views from my room were very nice. Walking around the city was a delight, and the on-site restaurant served delicious food too!

It is hard to find a reasonably priced neighboring hotel that has a very central location and spotless and bright rooms. The staff is efficient and attentive and accommodates all of guests' needs. 15 minutes drive to the airport, it is located on local sights to see.

no upgrade

Oh, the doubletree by hilton, where I expected a king's welcome but got squat. Stale coffee and rude reception staff? Check. The air con was so luod it could wake the dead. I was so disapointed not to receive an upgrade after my 'lovely' experience! Almost gave a good review, but just couldn't.

The location was perfect, close to downtown yet quiet enough to relax. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the housekeeping team always greeted me with a smile. I also enjoyed the fitness center.

Location very well to the city center directly at the freight harbour. In summer noisy due to the loading of ships even at night.

The hotel is currently being renovated which was not previously announced: a lot of noise from 7 a.m. and a temporary simple breakfast but practically no seats. Restaurant etc closed

The harbor view from the room was fine.

I was disappointed by unexpected parking fees that weren't disclosed in advance. The lack of responsiveness from the front desk was frustrating. I called multiple times without an answer. Lastly, the noise from nearby boats at night was disruptive, detracting from my overall experience.

During our stay extensive reconstruction measures took place. Something like this has to happen every now and then and has only slightly affected our stay. There is still some need for improvement, especially in the otherwise very nicely renovated bathroom (towel rails, storage for shower gel etc. in the shower cubicle, lighting on the mirror). According to the reception staff, however, all this has already been passed on to Montreal.
