delicious food

inconsistent water pressure

my stay was much better than expected at doubletree by hilton. the newly renovated rooms were comfortable, and the views from my room were incredible. walking around the city was a delight, and the on-site restaurant served delicious food too!

shower water pressure was inconsistent.

no upgrade

oh, the doubletree by hilton, where I expected a king's welcome but got squat. stale coffee and rude reception staff? check. the air con was so luod it could wake the dead. also, I was so disapointed not to receive an upgrade after my 'unforgettable' experience! almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

my stay at doubletree by hilton was fantastic! the location was perfect, close to downtown yet quiet enough to relax. the rooms were spotlessly clean, and the housekeeping team always greeted me with a smile. i also enjoyed the fitness center, which added to my experience.

The harbor view from the room was stunning.

I was disappointed by unexpected parking fees that weren't disclosed in advance, adding significant costs to my stay. Furthermore, the lack of responsiveness from the front desk was frustrating. I called multiple times without an answer. Lastly, the noise from nearby boats at night was disruptive, detracting from my overall experience.

This was just a prime choice for an overnight stay in St John's with great value-to-price ratio. The bathroom was updated and nice, which was a pleasant surprise. Just be prepared to pay for parking if you're bringing a car.
